What does creativity mean at House?
We understand creativity as the human ability to think differently, break away from conventions and sameness, and strive to create something new that adds value — for example, to our clients' experience. Creativity can be nurtured in everyone. Therefore, being creative means having original ideas that carry value and often emerge from the interaction of different perspectives.
Why do we think it's important to be creative at House?
In today’s world, naturally marked by uncertainty and constant change, professional success depends not only on what or how much you know, but on your ability to think and act creatively and adaptively — on your ability to seek out and develop innovative solutions for unexpected situations and unpredictable problems. At House, we believe that certain attributes are essential for strong creative performance: passion for what you do, curiosity, willingness to take risks, persistence, patience, intelligence, metacognition, the courage to face your limits, and the desire to go beyond them. Therefore, creativity is not just about embracing new ideas — it's also about letting go of old ones.
What does House mean by innovation?
At its core, by stimulating our imagination and channeling it through creativity, we can arrive at innovation. To innovate, therefore, is more than simply having a new and interesting idea. It must be implemented, tested, and adjusted if necessary — until its outcome is truly effective. And that is not an easy path. You must be prepared to make mistakes. Go back and forth between ideas and concepts, and try, whenever possible, to test them in practice. It means having the courage to question the status quo, challenge the unknown, and see uncertainty as an opportunity. Whether in Legal or other fields of knowledge, at House we embrace a creative approach as a catalyst for transformation in our students’ journeys, empowering them to innovate in their careers.
