A learning trail is a set of courses curated by Prof. Rafael Almeida designed to help you develop certain skills and abilities at each stage of your professional career.

We propose an integrated, emancipatory education, linked to a humanist, systemic, and interdisciplinary vision focused on practical applications, through which our students become the main subjects within the learning process.

We understand creativity as the human capacity to think differently, to break away from convention and sameness to create something new that adds value, for example, to our customers’ experiences. Creativity can be fostered in everyone. Therefore, to be creative is to have original ideas that have value and that often come from the interaction of different ways of looking at things.

In today’s uncertain and constantly changing world professional success doesn’t just depend on “what” or “how much” you know, but on your ability to think and act in creative and adaptive ways; on your ability to seek out and develop innovative solutions to unexpected situations and unpredictable problems. At House, we believe that there are some attributes necessary for high creative performance: a passion for what you do, curiosity, a willingness to take risks, persistence, patience, intelligence, metacognition, the courage to face your limits, and the desire to transcend them. Creativity, therefore, is not just about accepting new ideas, it’s also about setting aside old ones.

Essentially, by stimulating our imagination and realizing it through creativity, we are able to innovate. Innovating is, therefore, more than merely having a new and interesting idea. You have to implement it, try it out, adjust it if necessary, until you get the appropriate result. And that’s not an easy thing. You have to ready to make mistakes. You have to go back and forth on ideas and concepts and try, as far as possible, to verify them in practice. It means having the courage to question the status quo, to challenge the unknown, and to see uncertainty as an opportunity. Whether in law or other areas, here at House, we employ creativity as a catalyst for transformation in our students’ journeys so they are able to innovate in their careers.

At the end of their journey at House, students are awarded a Professional Development Certificate. To conclude this journey, they must successfully complete two (2) learning trails, participate in at least one (1) House LAB program and, if they wish, one (1) House Mentorship. Keep in mind that completion of each of these requirements earns a certification specific to it.

It is. To pass a course or House LAB program, a student must complete the tasks indicated by the teachers by the given deadlines and attend a minimum 75% (seventy-five percent) of the course/LAB sessions.

At House, we have set the minimum percentage of attendance required for students to pass any of our educational activities at 75% (seventy-five percent).
